CAROL MARSELLA LIBRARY
I am relatively convinced that in a past life I was Walter Mitty.
Genre: FANFIC, Western, LARAMIE
Background: Homeward Jess is a Two Part LARAMIE story written by Carol Marsella.
Rating: R - For Sexual Situations and Strong Psychological Themes.
Additional Notes: For the purposes of this story, Jess Harper was born in June of 1847. Additionally, I am breaking with LARAMIE canon and reducing Mike Williams in age from 12 years to 8.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:
Special heartfelt thanks to John Champion for creating LARAMIE and those who inhabited the Sherman Ranch and Relay Station, specifically Jess Harper and Slim Sherman; for having the foresight to make them less than perfect while, at the same time, writing into them such fundamentally moral values and decency in character that neither can ever be questioned, rivaled or duplicated. I am eternally in your debt.
Furthermore, I wish to thank Robert Fuller, John Smith, Hoagy Carmichael, Robert "Bobby" Crawford Jr, Spring Byington, and Dennis Holmes for the unparalleled quality of their work in their portrayals of Jess Harper, Slim Sherman, Jonesy, Andy Sherman, Daisy Cooper and Mike Williams.
Additional thanks to Tony Gill for his now Official Robert Fuller Website from which I gained a plethora of useful information and my dear friend, Liz "Neebeeshaabookway" Gonzalez for her gracious assistance and her enthusiastic willingness to share her LARAMIE expertise whenever I called upon her.
The usual disclaimers apply.
I did not create nor do I own the six main characters mentioned above or The Sheriff, Mort Corey, or The Stage Driver, Mose Shell. All other characters in this story, however, are my creations. They may be used in other fanfics, but I respectfully request that you include a bibliography.
I hope that you enjoy the story.
